From the South: Head into the City on the A19; when this becomes the Inner Ring Road, follow the road anti- clockwise (with the Castle Walls on the left-hand side). After the walls end, and now with the River Foss on the left-hand side, take a left at the traffic lights onto Layerthorpe. Turnbulls is 50 yds on the left-handside

From the North: Head into the City until you reach the Inner Ring Road. Head anti-clockwise until you reach a round-about next to the Brigadier Gerard Public House. Turn right at this roundabout and follow the one-way road next to the River Foss (you can see Turnbulls across the river). Turn right at the traffic lights and Turnbulls is 50yds on the left-handside.
